Just Intentions Matter

An old man lived alone in Minnesota. He wanted to spade his potato garden, but it was very hard work. His only son, who would have helped him,was in prison. The old man wrote a letter to his son and mentioned his
situation:

Dear Son,

I am feeling pretty bad because it looks like I won't be able to plant my potato garden this year. I hate to miss doing the garden, because your mother always loved planting time. I'm just getting too old to be digging up a garden plot. If you were here, all my troubles would be over. I know you would dig the plot for me, if you weren't in prison.

Love, Dad



Shortly, the old man received this telegram: "For Heaven's sake, Dad, don't dig up the garden!! That's where I buried the GUNS!!"
At 4 a.m. the next morning, a dozen FBI agents and local police officers showed up and dug up the entire garden without finding any guns.

Confused, the old man wrote another note to his son telling him what happened, and asked him what to do next.

His son's reply was: "Go ahead and plant your potatoes, Dad.. It's the best I could do for you from here."

Moral:

NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE IN THE WORLD, IF YOU HAVE DECIDED TO DO
SOMETHING DEEP FROM YOUR HEART YOU CAN DO IT. IT IS THE THOUGHT THAT MATTERS NOT WHERE YOU ARE OR WHERE THE PERSON IS.

Wrong side of 20's :)

Hey folks,
Today I turned 25, so before anything --Happy Birthday to me J . So, why I am here and specifically why today??? Hmmm…I wasn’t very great in English from my school days and even today I am not: D. So, being extra-ordinary bad in English during my school days I have to redo a lot of my homework .My teachers were always on my head for using the wrong verb (The thing of past was happening in present and the future nowhere existed it was all present…. J) for having a poor vocabulary and whatnot ... One of those homework was to write a diary entry…..Initially I used borrow my friends notebook for that and those who know me will agree :) but later on I was all by myself as their was none of my class mates left, from whom I have not asked help J ..so I started doing homework’s myself and as I did that more and more ..i started enjoying …though my grades weren’t improving.. but who cares as long as I am not failing.... So gradually it became more of a habit….then later when I entered college that habit got died down….my diary disappeared somewhere ….. So, today as I enter the wrong side of 20’s :) I thought of doing things I liked -Writing..…..And after all those homework’s my grammar haven’t improved much so drop a line to correct me.... J

Why today? Their is small story behind this -A very dear friend of mine has this very peculiar habit of starting new things on some important dates. I could still remember that day when I was shaving and he came with his trimming machine. We were fresher’s at that time just out of school and 1st year in college so lots of new things were coming up.. -for guys one of those is beard... :). So I have been noticing this guy never used to shave and he always had this thick beard on his face….and used this trimming machine which was good only to give you a 7 day old shave look….so that day I couldn’t control myself and asked him why ?? why don’t you shave ?, bandiyon pe acha impression padega J ..to this he said ..”I am waiting for the new year to shave as I want to remember the day I started shaving”..and I blasted out laughing…ha ha ha…phew...even today I can remember that day…J

So I borrowed this idea from him and that’s why I am here today….

Who is he ?? ..hmm…any guesses J …
